HELP! THERE'S A STRAY OUT IN THIS BAD WEATHER!
PLS RESCUE THIS POOR DOG - HE'S TIED UP AND LEFT OUT IN THE RAIN!
Whether we experience a typhoon or a very rainy day, we hope citizens can extend help for the homeless animals or displaced owned pets that they may encounter.
As an NGO with limited resources and a shelter that is currently at maximum capacity and located only in QC, PAWS can only do so much. Fortunately, everyone can pitch in to help.
What many don't often realize is that they are in fact, the closest line of assistance for the animal in need. This is because they are already in the area where the animal is and they have access to the animal.
Help the animals, even if just temporarily to keep them out of the rain and safe from the elements. How?
Allow them into your garage for temporary shelter.
Give them food and water.
Take them to a vet if you can if they are injured or unwell.
Make a makeshift shelter.
If it's an owned animal left out in the rain, talk to the owner and offer to help provide some shelter.
If you want to go the extra mile and wish to help strays further - please be guided by our FAQ:

Don't rely on Facebook. Don't rely on animal welfare groups. You are there NOW.
If you are going to post on Facebook anyway, be sure you include:
- the name and complete address of your neighbor whose dog/cat is out in the rain
- the exact location of the dog/cat (if it is a stray)
- the name and contact number of your barangay official / subdivision official
(If you don't know the info - please find out before posting.)
Help us help the animals.
