SHELTER CLEANING PROGRAM
Maximum number of participants: 20 people
Time: From 2pm to 5pm (Please schedule in advance.)
If you have successfully booked a schedule by phone, the group must expect to be assigned whatever cleaning chores that must be done that day which could be - picking up trash, sweeping, scrubbing, wiping, weeding, washing, mopping anything that needs such within PAWS grounds.
Participants must wear comfortable attire, must wear pants, bring own working gloves and are strongly advised to apply mosquito repellent.
The group must bring the ff:
- 1 pail and 2 dippers (tabo)
- 2 kg detergent powder
- 1 jug of bleach
- at least 2 deck brushes
- at least 2 brooms (synthetic bristles)
- 2 dust pans
- at least 5 rags
- XXL garbage bags
- at least 1-ft stack of old newspapers
We will not be able to lend you any of the materials specified in the list, and if you are unable to bring any of the items, you may have to send someone out to buy the item before you could continue with the activity. Maximum number of participants that we could have for one day is 20 people.
All attendees for shelter tours or shelter-based group activities are expected to comply with shelter rules and guidelines. Please call the office during office hours for further clarifications (Mon-Sat 10am to 12nn, 1 to 5pm - closed on declared holidays and Sundays).
