CAN PAWS PROVIDE BOARDING OR TEMPORARY SHELTER FOR MY PETS?
Actual Question received by PAWS:
Can PAWS temporarily provide shelter for my pets? Can my pets board at PAWS?
Can i put my dog in your shelter for 7 days? because I'm attending my grandma's death anniversary on may 12-18 but i feel bad in letting my 2 dogs just to roam around. i don't have a relative here in manila and I'm willing to supply there food for that 7 days. I hope u can help me.
Answer:
PAWS does not offer boarding services for owned pets. The PAWS animal shelter is for animals rescued from cruelty or neglect as we file corresponding charges to animal offenders.
For pet owners who need to travel or who is moving out and temporarily needs a place for their pets to stay at, we recommend you ask relatives or friends. Another option is to contact veterinary clinics in your area. Most of them offer boarding services. They will charge a daily rate for keeping your dogs and they can keep him for a couple of days until you are ready to take him back in.
For Metro Manila contacts, below is a list of establishments we are aware of that offer boarding and day care (aside from vet clinics who offer boarding services).
